I'm planning on getting a baseline dyno pull on my '01 GT soon and was wondering who else has done this and what were the #'s? I was thinking around 220 RWHP for a stocker depending on what type of dyno.

Hahaha I wish. My baseline was 216rwhp with a K&N and weldin flows...

With a mongoose kit, plenum & 75mm TB I put down 351rwhp. I haven't gotten on the dyno since the midpipe. I think I'm putting down around 370 now.

The current 5.0 Mustang magazine (page 134 June 2007) on the Trick Flow Track Heat article shows a stock 2002 GT that dynoed 235.69rwhp and the only modification to the car is an after-cat exhaust.

Though I'm not sure if this car went on a generic dynojet or on a Mustang dyno.

It all depends on the dyno used, conditions during the dyno, and the car. There are factory freaks and there are prime conditions as well as high reading dyno's. It's fairly safe to say that 225ish for a manual is about right for stock, there will be lower and higher numbers.

Well that gives me an idea of what to expect. I might have to put off the dyno test 'till my friend gets his camaro ready for dyno as well:rolleyes: I plan on going to my local track (SIR in Saskatoon) may 26 for a test and tune day with a prepped track. I've already hit a G-tech of 14.3@99 with a passenger in the car so I'm hopeing for 13's.
