I'm planning on getting a baseline dyno pull on my '01 GT soon and was wondering who else has done this and what were the #'s? I was thinking around 220 RWHP for a stocker depending on what type of dyno.

Estimate about 15% loss w/ a manual and 20% loss w/ an auto.

260 w/ manual = 226ish
260 w/ auto = 216ish

Hahaha I wish. My baseline was 216rwhp with a K&N and weldin flows...

With a mongoose kit, plenum & 75mm TB I put down 351rwhp. I haven't gotten on the dyno since the midpipe. I think I'm putting down around 370 now.

yeah, im not so sure a midpipe is worth 19hp to the wheels, even on a s/c application. Maybe 10.

IMO, I think 19 rwhp is very possible on a s/c stang by adding a high flow x pipe.

My 03 auto put down 237rwhp and 280rwtq with a Prochamber and Mac catback. Not sure what it is since I put on the 93 tune and messed with the timing.

The current 5.0 Mustang magazine (page 134 June 2007) on the Trick Flow Track Heat article shows a stock 2002 GT that dynoed 235.69rwhp and the only modification to the car is an after-cat exhaust.

Though I'm not sure if this car went on a generic dynojet or on a Mustang dyno.

It all depends on the dyno used, conditions during the dyno, and the car. There are factory freaks and there are prime conditions as well as high reading dyno's. It's fairly safe to say that 225ish for a manual is about right for stock, there will be lower and higher numbers.

I never got a baseline. That was the only time the car has ever been dynoed. The shop owner said they were the highest he had seen on a basically stock auto.

Mine dynoed 224hp and 259torque when it was stock. The only thing I had was a K&N dropin filter with the air silencer removed. Pearl02.

Well that gives me an idea of what to expect. I might have to put off the dyno test 'till my friend gets his camaro ready for dyno as well I plan on going to my local track (SIR in Saskatoon) may 26 for a test and tune day with a prepped track. I've already hit a G-tech of 14.3@99 with a passenger in the car so I'm hopeing for 13's.
