stock shocks and struts on 01 cobra?

Can anyone tell me what the stock shocks and struts came out on 01 cobras?I purchased the snake used and I the fronts are yellow ford and blue bilistiens in the rears,are the rears aftermarkets and if so why would the previos owner change rears only?

Probably a 1st attempt at solving the infamous "wheel hop" problem. Front shocks dont help much if at all so he/she may have put different dampening shocks in the rear.

thanks for the reply i dont have too much wheel hop.not like most report to have the former owner supposedly set it up for autocross.

Hey hey,
I have an 01 Cobra (purchased new) and the stock struts and shocks are "black". You must have aftermarket on the front also.

well that is odd they say ford on the front yellow shocks it would help to ask the guy if i see him again love my car best ride ive ever had. thanks again for the replies

They probably put '03 Cobra struts on the front. They are yellow bilstiens. That's what I did to my '01 & put QA1 adjustable shocks on the rear.

Thanks mysticrome thats prob. right appriciate the answer wish I could have bought it new so I would know but I got such a good deal and a well modded car I jumped on it.
