Stock speedo gear for 2.73s?

I ask because i just put 3.73's in my 95 GT 5speed and iam looking to get a SpeedCal so my speedo and milege will be right on the money!Anyway i can't remember if it's a 16 tooth drive or 18.thanks

If no one replies by tomorrow, I'll let you know. I'm putting in a 23 tooth speedo gear in my car tomorrow and I'll count the teeth on my stock one if someone hasnt come up with an answer by then.

Yeah, when I put the 3.55's in mine.. it was a 20 or 21 tooth. So thats probably correct.

I'm resurrecting this thread to say...I have a 16 tooth gear in my stock 88 with the 2.73 rear end. I also have a 90 (lucky me) that was converted from AOD to 5 spd. I have heard that in 90 the drive gear was changed to 8 tooth. Needless to say, the speedo is off. I think the 90 has stock 2.73 gears matched with the old auto? How many teeth do I need on the 90 gear?
