Sorry for the highjack, but l'm now having the same problem. I hooked up a set of jumper cables backwards on my 92 and now my tach quit and my wipers will not shut off. Is there something l could have burnt out or is it just a coincidence.

Start a thread in the 5.0 tech section describing you car, what mods have been done and what problems you are encountering along with what you did and why you did it.

Electrical tachometer conversion from 6 to 8 cylinder (will also work for 4 to 6 or 4 to 8 but with different resistor size)
