Stock tach is sticking?

My stock tach just started sticking today.... Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it?

TTT for ya. Ive been experiencing the same problem ever since my gear install. In the upper rpm's it will stick anywhere from 4-5500 and then jump to about 6k when Im redlining.

mine does that on occasion as well....sometimes worse then others...sometimes not at all....

its just the stock POS tach from what ive been able to gather...if i had enough extra cash around id grab a nice autometer tach nd hook it up and see how that goes....

Mine is sticking on the low end. We put our tachs together we might have a good one!

Yeah, a monster tach would be nice, but I'm an AODE and I have more important mods that need that money.

same here mine will jump 400-500 RPMS at a time in the upper RPM range
