I kinda like the look of the late 90s v6 rims.Im a little older and the low profile look has never thrilled me.

anyone know if they would fit my 96 GT ?

Yes, all 95-04 v6 wheels will physically bolt up, but it is a big step backwards in my opinion. Most of them are 15x6, which is a bit narrower than the GT wheels, so you'll be stuck running a narrower tire. The handling won't feel as crisp because of the tall sidewalls. Some of the 99+ wheels were actually 16", which may be the same as your 96, depending on how it was optioned from the factory.

My opinion is to keep the GT wheels, or your car will look like a v6, or a v8 that someone doesn't give a crap about. I can see running winter tires on a set of v6 wheels, and that would be a smart choice, but there are too many performance advantages to keeping a larger wheel in my opinion.
