Stock vs Cammer Crate

ive been doing some research and found ill more than likely be spending 10-15 thousand on my 06 motor so now the question is should i scrap the modifying the stock motor project, and move to grab a 5.0 or even 5.8L Cammer crate motor or something along those lines from ford racing parts. It would cost roughly the same, and id get warrenty on it, its all natural, and ill prob get the same power than if i did up the stock motor, plus ill still be able to put add on later on like a blower, intake, etc. in the future. and most of all ill still have the original motor with low km so in 70 years when its a collector car i can put it back in (LOL). what do u guys think? im thinkin BIG BLOCK!!!

I say do it. 5.0 sounds good to me.
I doubt we will be using guzzoline in 70 years but go for it.

FORD RACING does not offer a warranty on their crate motors. some distrubutors will add a 12/12,000 warranty, but most will not. the cammer engine is about $14 grand, and does not meet fords endurance requirements. i would not spend $14 g's on a motor that is known to not last long (relatively speaking). what the hell will you be buying for 10-15 grand on your stock motor? you can probably get a billet bottom end and a blower putting out 700 hp for that much...are you going that far??????? just a forged bottom end and a blower with extra psi would not set you back 10 grand...whats the ultimate goal here??????
