What is the tool for? The oil drain plug? What does it look like?

No it's for the filter. And torque is 3/4 of turn, no more or less. Pita the first time, after that it's cake. Mazda # AKS75140.

It's this right here, I got mine from my dealers parts counter for $18.

Swap a p.i. intake on, $100 for the intake, $100 for the other parts, and $whatever for the labor, and you'll actually be able to "climb the rpms", as opposed to hitting a brick wall power-wise, causing you to shift early and be way the hell out of your power band. Or just get a blower
