you can send it to moser axle in indiana they can striaghten it ,unless its bent double or squashed its fair cheap to have done as well i think under 50.00 they can also put a brace on it to keep it straight IF NEEDED

If it is bent more than a degree or 2, I would just get a new housing. $50 + shipping x2 would not make sense to me, but then again I have a spare in the garage.

Fox is shorter. Are you replacing everything inside? I'd be afraid that it damaged the axle and maybe the diff. I think Fox through 98 are the same housing. Brakes should interchange with the right axles. I have never tried 99+ brakes on a Fox. Mine is a fox housing and diff with 95 brakes and axles.

Were you planning on putting this rear in an early Mustang? If you were, you'd need to have it shortened anyway. It's way too wide in stock form. Also if the housing is bent, you most likely have at least one bent axle. The housing can be straightened by the shop that narrows it, but I don't think axles can be straightened.

Bent axle housing....yikes!

Was it in an accident, or was somebody pretending to be the General Lee?

The car was side swiped,I am rebuilding it. Yes the axle is bent to but axles are cheap the housing is not. I dont think any other parts are broken/bent.

The housing may be the same on 99+ but they are still not cheap even from just a GT. The Mach is even more expensive because of the bigger brakes. Anyone with a 99+ 8.8 housing forsale let me know.
