Strange after MSD install

Hey guys, just finished installing a MSD 6AL and Blaster 2 coil, and noticed that when the car is running, the door chime does not ring when the door is open, but as soon as i shut the stang off, it comes on??...(any idea why its not ringing while running now)??...any ideas would be great....thanx

what year? In my 85 it comes on when it feals like, the door will be open and not a sound till i bang something and it'll come on..

Consider yourself blessed, I disconnected my door chime within 1 week of getting my car. Sorry, I really can't help.
