That's really the service manager's call.Depends on how much time they have to spend on your car.They will either completely tear it down and redo it, or just give you a new engine.Whichever he decides, you are still getting a new or rebuilt engine out of the deal.You might take the opportunity to get some parts put on for free if you don't already have them and know your service people pretty good.I had underdrives, a c&l upper and an x-pipe put on for free since all of the parts were already off.Figured if I had to go without my car, at least I was going to get something for the inconvenience.AdamantiumKnot said:Bingo, spun a bearing also, car's currently at ford, i'm waiting to here if they'll warranty it. do they drop in a remanufactured engine or a new one?
