Strange lock problem

The other day I noticed that my power locks weren't working on the passenger side and that even when I manually push down the lock it will pop back up i about 20 seconds. It will keep trying to pop back up every 20 seconds whether the car is on or not. I tried disconnecting all the switches and that didn't do anything. Does anyone have any ideas?

Your door lock actuator is shot. Needs to be replaced.

I think disconnecting the switches does not prevent the actuators from firing. I think the actuators or on a constant hot, and the switch only grounds it, completing the circuit. You would need to disconnect the fuse or cut the power lead to the locks to check them.
