Where did you get the converter and how much? I want one so bad but don't want to shell out the cash, so if you know where I could get a good deal I would appreciate it. Also, keep us posted after the install on how much SOTP difference there is.

I want as well, I felt a good SOTP reaction from the 4.10s, so anyone with a good coverter, how does the SOTP feel?

i got it from edge racing, it was 600 including shipping for it, and it took 5 days to build and 4 days to ship. its tiny compared to the stocker, im so anxious to get this thing in tomorow. i'll let you know what this new tranny w/ shift kit, converter and cooler does to my quarter.

I'm getting an 8.778 in the 1.8th N/A which should be about ~13.7 in the 1/4.

That's with stock gears Paul.

Hopefully the install goes well, and davins130 will be too.

BTW - 1/8th mile.... just means your track can spend twice the money to upkeep it. I plan to run at a different track this coming month. We'll see if it makes a difference or not.
