There were these flaps that were supposed to go up the back of the wheel well, that look fine if the car is same color but just didn't work for me in black.

I started trimming the excess away ...

Then after it was all trimmed off, i glued a piece in to fill some of the void...

Then I filled it with Bond O......

Sanded it down...

Placed it against the car and filled it again...

After all the final sanding, it was paintd matt black, and installed on the car...

Hi guys, I'm a little new to this , but I do know my tires. The reason there is such a gap btween his tires and wheel well , is because he has a smaller aspect ratio tire (lower profile. For example , stock 235/55 tires have a "height" ratio of 129 while 285/35 only have a ratio of 99.75. sure the 285's are much WIDER, but they are also smaller in height. Thus the gap

So this is how is car his lowered not once, but twice. Once with the lowering springs and then again due to the lower sidewall.
I went the opposite way. Stock suspension and grew 1.1" in rear tire height Fills up the rear fender pretty good.

Beautiful ride ...it does look like a stock riding height though. I like that rear valence I have the same one but it is still in the paint shop along with my new hood. Can't wait to get it installed gonna be sweet!

It does look like a stock suspension ride height to me as well. With 18" rims and even a low profile tire should not be that much of a gap especially in the back. But then again who knows Different products may appear differently. Does it lean a lot when cornering?

At the risk of going off topic...do you have problems with the tire scrubbing the fender wells? I love my Mustang but the stock suspension really is bad for flexing a lot.

Its just the camera playing tricks on you. I've seen his car in person, and he's definitely got it dropped.

The tires are 26" but I have no idea why it looks higher than it is, I had to get a new floor jack because the one I had would no longer slide under the car. It doesn't lean really at all, it corners like a go-cart. I am going to change the Shocks/struts and springs again this winter sometime. I am going with the Tokico D-specs with matching lowering springs.

When my car was on OEM tires, Casey's car was right next to mine and was noticeably lower.
