now im not looking to sell my stang anytime soon, but just out of curiosity for all you guys who are heavily modded if it came time to sell your stang, would you remove all the mods and revert it back to stock and sell the parts on like ebay or classifieds, or just leave it modded and try selling it like that??? just curious

I'd have to agree. You'd never get your money back selling the car as a whole. You'd get some of it back parting it out...

I agree, strip out what you can. When tried to sell my last modified Cobra as is, I couldn't believe how many people turned it down because they wanted a "stock" Mustang. I was trying to sell it for less than book value even with all the mods ($4k+) and had no such luck. I stupidly traded it in to a dealer with all the mods still on it.

Remove them, unless you have a buyer who wants them on the car. Most people associate a mod'd car w/ a car that's been beat on.
