I would hope it would make at least 550 at the flywheel.

Just out of curiosity why Hyp pistons when using an H beam rod? Weight savings?

331 based on '68 Mexican bock
Scat crank and I beam rods
Triton main girdle ARP 154-5410 studs
Comp Cams Turbo Grind
Fw 361F/3612F Hr114+4
.552 In/Ex 224 duration In/Ex 114 centers +4 adv
Probe Pistons 8.4:1 domed
Gt-40Y heads stock 1.94/1.54
Cobra intake 80mm MAF 75mm TB 50# injectors
T-56 with 3.50:1 gears
540HP flywheel currently 570HP target
700 RPM idle, slightly lumpy, guess milage at about 18mpg

The clearancing wasn't a big deal. Some Mexican blocks are running sub 10's so that makes em at about 800HP SAE and they holdup. If you can't buy a Sportsman or DART block, yo can't beat "Hecho in Mexico"

Try this site, you can get a complete turnkey motor and know for a fact how much HP it is putting out for a really reasonable price.

Nah, at the time the price for forged pistons with that combo was out of my reach. I wish I had forged now, because I am thinking about boost once I get the new heads on there.

And as far as the HP goes, I am being conservative, I would hate to say 550HP and only be at 520 or so. But I know the AFR 205 cc will make a huge difference over the Twisted Wedge heads.
