guys, i have gought the vt stroker engine. i just have to call jim when and tell him when to build it.

anyway, i was wondering if the stroker engine sounds any different at all then a stock displacement engine. in terms of if it has a different tone or even a different pilse like cams do.

what do you guys know?

Not really. The sound change would most likely be due to other parts of as package like headwork, different valves, camshafts, etc.

If the only mod is the actual stroker stroker, there may be a tiny change in sound due to added displacement, but nothing radical or choppy. Maybe just a slight deepening in tone.

Any change will be the result of a combination of things

i already got a lot of that stuff and gas is already not to good. im not really concerned as i know it will suck on gas once i have everything finisher. i just wondered how much a stroker would play part in that.

i figure when im done ill be getting like 10 miles to the gallon. its not my dd though so it is ok for me.
