I just installed struts but im wondering why the steel spacer that came with the new struts is so much shorter that the ones that were with the original struts,im talking about the sleeve that goes on top underneath the nut in the center,it is about two inches smaller.I ended up using the longer ones anybody think it will matter. the car seems to ride OK,the ride is prolly about 20% softer which is what I was looking for.
