strut mount question.. prothane..

ok so i got my strutmounts the prothanes.. top portion is self explanitary but the bottom baffles me a biit.. reason being the original lower is metal with rubber around it where as oviously the prothanes are poly.. do they just go in place of the original or am i missing something here

no one has ever used there bushings?

This a real old post but I have the same question with the prothane bushings. What did you do with the flat bushings?

so , i found about 3 mustangs ago that the oem are one piece on the lower bushing with the cup but if you buy moog replacements it comes separate and you can use your prothane lower with the cup piece from the moog replacement kit.
