I'm planning on getting Tokico's, I have the C springs on the car already. Can anyone link me to a good how-to on strut/shock replacement. Also do I have to get the front aligned after replacing the struts or is there a way to do it that doesn't affect the alignment?

thanks

front is sooo easy you don't need manual. all u need is little common semce. So is the rear.

But if you feel you need it, http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/steedaspring1.htm will give you an idea.

When I did mine I was worried about the springs popping out and killing me, mostly because a few people said don't even try it without spring compressors or a spring will pop out and kill you.
It was easy. A little prying on the front ones but they didn't fly off anywhere. Once you take a look at it, it is pretty much common sense easy.
Good luck.

It is dangerous if you don't unload the suspension, but as long as you unload it, there is no danger at all.

The only thing that's a bitch is breaking the strut top nuts off. When I did my CC plates we had to get an electric impact to buzz them off.

I did my own spring install so that's no big. I'm just wondering if there's anything special I need to know before I get started. Oh and I purchased the Tokico HPs last night on eBay $265 shipped.
