Im building an 07 GT to do some small time 1/4 mile work. Will not be pulling any road racing adventures out of the hat and my 1/4 mile racing will only be on a whim and limited at that. Main goal is to have a DD that will get up and go if I so wish for it too... Im wondering if a strut/shock tower support is going to be worth the $$ spent. I have an aftermarket intake cover so my options are limited to one that will clear that and so far what Ive found doesnt look all that "supporting" I know they are aesthetically pleasing but with 3 kids in college I need to make sure there is a purpose for having it.
 Thanks for any and all info

You can put one on there, anything that stiffens the chassis and reduces flex in certain areas is good. I have the Ford intake cover and I found the V-6 FRPP strut tower brace fits and still has some clearance in case a blower should find its way under there. You never know.
