I just installed a Trickflow plenium and 70mm TB. The new plenium is a little taller than the stock so now the brace binds on the air intake tube but only deflects it about an inch. So which is worse, not putting the STB in or binding the intake tube?

donno... brace makes great addition for lowered car, but yours isn't lowered, and plenum makes power...

I haven't run a STB. If you need to you can get an aftermarket one for $100. Didn't make much of a difference not having it on.

Thank you Master Yoda.

I'll leave it off for a while but I will be lowering the car in the next 6-8 months. Not much...probably the Mach 1/Bullitt kit that drops about an inch. I havn't even driven the car yet. I was rushing aroung trying to find screws for my TPS since I couldn't get the other TPS off the old TB. I had to get it together before my wife headed to work or I wouldn't have a car. It runs but I need to go play.

i think you should look for one that fits, and don't interfear with tube. If your lowring it, I think its good idea to have one. As i do

I kinda like my stock STB. Makes it feel a whole lot tighter. But then again, I've never been without. But on the other hand, I went a year w/out my rear sway bar. But again, I noticed a huge difference when I got one. Not much help I guess, but suspension is .
