My STB is gone, and I honestly can't tell any difference in handling or anything else. The way I see it, we have a weight distribution problem anyway, so why add more up there with a STB?

a front heavy weight distribution means you should tighten up the front because so much momentum is being carried by it - it wants to move around more. Plus, if you have 1-2 extra gallons of gas it will equal the difference in weight distribution the STB will cause, lol. Im not saying it's a miracle, but the physics of a front heavy car doesnt mean you should remove stability parts in order to reduce wieght

BTW i had this same problem, i asked a guy who works behind the cabenetry business my dad owns who builds club class le mans cars for rich guys to alter the STB so it'd fit, and what he ended up doing was rewelding/routing my CAI to curve down then to the front of the car, + it made it closer to the air inlet...sweet. Plus u cant beat free, he owed my dad a favor
old pics, my engine bay looks diff now, but heres the old/new:

Waste of money unless you're a roadracer who needs every last bit or chassis rigidity.

Spend the money elsewhere first.

Mustangs stopped coming with STB's a long time ago. I do want 1, but its already hard to find 1 to fit a Mach, & I dont think the 1 I found will clear the C&L intake I have.

If you have a vert ignore the negative comments. It made as much difference as my MM SFCs. So much better than before. I'm really pleased with it.
