can someone please tell me the difference between the 87-93 struts and 94-03 struts. I've got 94-03 spindles to put on my 89 5.0, which struts would I use?

I used 99 a arms, 94/95 spindles an fox struts. From what I've read, The sn95 struts are longer. They are partially compressed at normal ride height, which makes the ride harsh. They also bottom out easier. I had 02 take offs on an 87 an it rode rough.

the 99 a arms weren't too long? I've got a set of 01 a arms and they look to be about 3/4 to1 inch longer than the 89 a arms. Or did you use rims with a lot of back spacing?

I put them on an 84 which is .5" narrower per side than the 87 up foxes. the rim sits just barely inside the fender lip. I'm using 225 wide tires up front an it still looks a tad wide. I may go with the 05 wheels to get more off set an move the width in a little.

The 05 wheels will help. They have a +45mm offset, bringing them in 15mm over the stock 94-04 17X8's.

out back did you use the ranger/aerostar axles or the 94-98 axles?
