i have noticed that when i'm just cruiseing down the road, or picking up speed from a stop sighn or red light that there is a slight studder , kinda like a missfire. i'm curious if anyone else has had this problem. i have replaced my fuel filter , air filter , and put some of that heat stuff in the gas tank that is sapose to dry up the water in the tank.

Yes, It was the fuel filter. the stuff you put in your tank may not help.

Yes mine does it also, have no clue why.

My stang only has only 15k on it !!

well that stuff is rubbing alchol. and some other stuff to. you add it to a full tank of gas and it drys up the water thats in the bottom of the tank. cause i'm in new jersey and it gets hot during the day and drops alot at night. so the condensations comes alot. i'm in the air force and i work on generators and the outdoor storage tanks need water drained from them about every 2 weeks, normally its about 1in1/2 everytime too. and thats alot when its a 4000 gallon tank

Does your car have an auto tranny? If so does this "skip" happen at slow speeds up to
40 mph? If so what you may be experiencing is torque converter modulation. This will occur anywhere under 1500 rpms. Happened to me I went round and round with Ford. Went to my local race shop had 4.10 gears and a custom JMS chip installed (gets you into a different power band) and out of the "skip". Also screwed up one time and added an octane booster fried the plugs and got a nasty skip like a miss fire. Check them out.
