Twice lately I've noticed something weird from my car. The other day a truck turned in front of me, I downshifted to second, and when he turned I got on the gas kind of hard and the car felt like it stumbled/maybe jerked from the rear end then went.
Then in first gear the other day, I hit it as I straightened out, and it felt like it fell on its ass and then took off, happened fast but again felt like the jerk was from the rear. I did notice the TC light blink, but I've never had my traction control feel so intrusive, as this was a very noticeable, borderline violent jerk.
This is on my 2006 V6, 21,000 miles with manual trans and well maintained. A couple weeks ago I ran up on a curb on the right side a little bit, but their was no visible damage and it tracks ok. Could I have overlooked something? Is it really the TC? I'm kind of worried about it, praying something isn't messed up.
