ok no matter what gear my car is in it feels like it is in 4th/OD it just started doing this and i have no idea why?!?! it just doesnt want to move! i do smell exhaust pretty bad on the drivers side under the hood, i got teary eyed and light headed haha. i rarely drive my car and would really like to be able to drive it when i do decide to. also my car dies when i start her up unless i hold the gas in for a few seconds after that it idles ok. any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Have you had a tune done since the heads/cam? If so, have you pulled the codes?

no tune yet. hci swap was a while ago though. i did try to have codes pulled at autozone but there thing said can not connect to computer or something lke that. i have stock injectors. it started doing it after i had to tighten down a rocker.

they might have been trying obdII codes. Our cars are obd I

Any chance you tighened the rocker down too far, collapsing the lifter and causing the engine to bind? How does the engine run in neutral?

i was thinking about the fact i may have tightend it to much. im gonna try to take it apart again tomorrow. is there torque specs for rockers or is it just kinda by feel?

There's a torque spec for all the oiled parts on the motor. I don't have my manual at the moment. I'm sure someone can get it for you.
