stupid clutch quadrant

Im not sure if I have a steeda clutch quadrant or what, but I bought one of the quadrants of ebay and it has given me nothing but hell for the last 2 years.

Today my second clutch cable broke (the universal ford cable). When the first cable broke I assumed it was a cheap aftermarket cable. I now know its a cheap aftermarket clutch quadrant...


man what a pain. luckily i was able to coast into a parking spot..

you know i had to buy the ford cable (the 140$ one).. because I could not miss work the next day..


but i am happy I did, it is way easier to push the clutch in , then the oem universal ford cable I ordered from MM
