stupid question but had to asking

im in need of a new alternator andmy lights like to get brighter when i rev the engine, but before i came in tonight i noticed that when my alternator gets charged up from me revving a bit my oil pressure also increases a tiny bit then drops back down with the alternator, i gave my self an oil change 3days ago,.......justw ondering if its nothing

oil pressure usally goes up at higher rpms especially when the oil is hot after a drive.

oil doin that is normal lights actually happens alot u dont have to upgrade the alt but can if u want wouldnt hurt any to get a new alt.

NOTHING AS LONG AS OIL PRESSURE IS WITHIN NORMAL RANGE. BUT REMOVE(VERY EASY TO DO) AND HAVE ALT. CHECKED AT AUTO PARTS STORE (FREE) AND REPLACE ASAP BEFORE YOU CAUSE OTHER PROBLEMS WITHIN ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

Dimming lights is a sign of a strained electrical system.

At the very least, add a larger ground between the engine block and front dash (aka Firewall.) The alternator uses the engine as it's ground and that little tiny ground strap that came from the factory is not big enough.

If that doesn't help, you should start considering the 3G swap
