stupid question but..

ok, i just pretty had a pair of heads, cam and intake maniforld put on. i was about to change my oil and was wondering what type of oil i should run.
I'm not running synthetic because the block has over 100k. but what non synthetic oil do u guys recomend?

Who cares if the block has 100k? Run Mobil 1! Mine has 130k.. I run Mobil 1.. my Jeep ZJ has 167k, I run Mobil 1

I just changed my car over also it has 115,000 miles on it with no ill effects + a little better fuel mileage. I really think this synthetic leaking is a myth I know plenty of people that have changed over at very high mileage and seen only benefits. Also you could try synthetic if you have any issues just change back to dino oil.............
