Last night I removed the Dizzy thinking I was going to start to polish it lol Well first I couldn't even remove the dang TFI module I didn't have any sockets small and long enough to fit in there. Then I tried to polish it a little... OMG Kudos goes out to those who do their own work, that stuff requires the patience of a Saint. The aluminum was pretty bad, I had to wire brush it, then started to sand with some 80 grit. I got sick and tired after an hour and just painted it silver haha.

I do have a spare dizzy hanging around somewhere with no TFI module, so I guess I will work on that one to polish. I can take all summer if I have to. Should I bead blast it first? What tools should I buy to start polishing stuff?

The TFI takes a special tool you can get at Autozone or a similar place.

yeah the tool you need to take off the module if you don't have a small enough socket is a "Ford ignition module tool" available at most autoparts stores." Polishing is definitely not a fast process, but it looks sweet when you get it done.

look into powdercoating. More detail IMO and less maint. Some parts just flat out look better polished than powdercoated. but with a piece like a dizzzy, there are alot of nooks and crannies
but good luck
