ok ok ok...stupid question but I have to ask cuz I am second questioning myself now. I always thought that my 02 GT had the 3650 trans in it. I went to look for a new shifter and fordracing.com said that only some 02 GT's have that trans. Now I am confused. Which transmission do I have or did i just read it wrong? This is directly from the website:
"Fits T-5 and T-45 transmission. Does not fit Tremec 3650 transmission found in 2001-02 Cobras, Bullits and some GT Mustangs (3650 transmission has the drain plug in the bottom of the case)"
Anybody know anything about this? thanx in advance.
