I have H&R SS on my vert and was wondering if i put FL SFC on my car if i would have problems with bottoming out? Anyone with with this setup please inform me.
When my car was too low it was the underside of the K member that scraped. You shouldnt ever scrape subframe Cs.
Get Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subs. Have them welded with the car lifted with the weight on the wheels. It makes a big difference to a vert. Paint over the welds to avoid rust.
Sorry to hijack this thread. Do you guys with lowered Stangs have any problems when the car needs to be lifted at a shop? I heard that some shops can't get thier lift under the car because it's to low. Thinking about lowering springs. Pearl02.

Only once when my car was SLAMMED. They drove it onto a bit of wood and then lifted it.
I always ask them to be careful with the arms though... to look before they kick them under the car. Never had an issue so far.

I know for myself with the set up i have , i can not got to the Speedy Oil change places as mine hit the metal corb around the open pit. The guy told me that Corvettes can make it in , mine would not though . That was due to the sub frame connectors i had installed . They were a one off creation at the time though .

Yeah, My Cobra has Steeda Sport springs which are LOW and with the FLSFC my father got it stuck in an automatic car wash
SInce then I have noticed when I need to jack the car up I need to lift on the front fender to slip the jack under the front. Also on the alignment rack it needs wood extensions on the ramp. I also saw the car get stuck on the frame machine when I had them check it. The little air jacks that slide on the ramp got caught on the H-pipe.
My SFCs have a couple scratches on them but not as many as the H-pipe does
