success using a9l with auto?

anybody had any luck using an a9l cpu with an auto tranny? and i dont ave cruise control. where can i get this vehicle speed sensor?

what do you need the vss for? You can snag it coming out of the trans tunnel on drivers side if i recall correctly

the a9l will work fine with an auto tranny, only in 94 up cars did the computer control the automatic

The vss is also used for idle control strategies... especially at coast down...

thanks for that info. why do some guys do without the vss? i only have the cpu and the maf sensor plus the housing. i know i will need the maf connector. any other guides with pictures out there cause i dont want to mess anything up. im also very familiar with soldering.
