blah, blah, blah...this is my thread denouncing Redline for his un-justified bashing of the Giants.

Last time I checked they were better than 14 other teams in the NFC...so you can say what you want.

Bad quarterbacks don't make it to the championship game; period. If they did, then I'd expect to see teams like the Bears in the playoffs...great team, lots of talent, terrible QB. If they had a good QB, they'd be a huge threat...same thing with Baltimore; their QB problems this year killed them.

Ahmm... The Bears were in SB last year with the same QB; period! Baltimore did it in 2000 with Dilfer, The Pats in 01 with a sub par Brady. what about Bradshaw? I see where your going but your way off! This year Baltimore had no recieving and an aging defense and crappy coach on top of bad pitching!

Whatever happened to the days of a football fan actually enjoying all aspects of football, and all games.

I'm a true Cincy fan, but I still enjoy watching nearly any football game and have respect for others teams while also recognizing my own teams shortcomings and strengths. I can sit here and argue all day about the talent on Cincy and how I feel its stronger than the talent on a lot of other teams that are doing better, but in the end....its like a drag race. All that matters is who wins, and you can't find that out until after its finished.

Fully agree with you doc.. I enjoy watching all teams and really don't like some..

Seems like Pats fans on this board (and other general pats fan's i know) hate all other teams in the NFL and are arrogant This thread is a perfect example of that haha

I'm a very humble Giant fan, and did not think we would make it this far. If green bay beats us, thats ok, i consider it an honor to be playing against them. Farve is the man, so if we are beat, then i'll be cheering for good ol green bay to oust the enemy of the NFL that is the New England Patriots

Glad to hear I'm not the only one this way. I never would have thought the Giants would have made it either. Although I was rooting for them over Dallas....I might have to root for GB. I'd love to see Favre win it. But if the Giants do beat GB...I'll be rooting for them in the Bowl fo sho!

I remember many moons ago when the Pats were the worst team in the league for quite some time. Strange how teams cycle. Maybe we'll all be around when they collapse again and can see how true a fan he remains.

My team choked like normal so I just hope someone beats the Pats. I am pulling for the Packers, but I just dont see anyone posing much of a threat to NE.

Biotch! I guess you didn't see the week 17 game? If the Giants get past the Packers (which will be very hard) it will be payback time for the Pats. Cows got their payback and maybe Green Bay will also. And if the Giants get 1-2 of their starting corners back. And if the weather is just right.. And if Brady breaks his leg and Belichick gets caught cheating again and...

It's not just pats fans that can be asses...

having a boston accent and playing games on xbox live has been awful this week.. Do you know how many clans of ******* new yorkers I have run into since the giants beat dallas..

I was minding my own buisness playing a game with one of my friends against a whole clan that had the clan tag LINY ( I guess that must mean Long Island,NY) and they asked after the first game we played if I was from new england and I said yes.. After that they started screaming that I was a *** and saying the pats suck and that they cheated and that brady is gay and GO G-men and all this other crap about Ortiz doing roids ( LOL even if it was true yankee fans should not talk about roids with ANYBODY)

They spent the entire game ( it was a COD4 ground war deathmatch) chasing me around.. Funny part is they lost the game because they were so busy chasing me around and trying to T-bag me when i died..

This was the worst of about 20 incidents on XBL because of my accent in the last week..

Sad part is these were young adults not little kids doing this.

Yeah its everywhere that people are asses. I was at a Steelers game a few years ago and Cinci beat the Steelers so after the game a few fans from both sides were having some friendly banter back and forth. Both sides were laughing til some ass holio (Steelers fan) threw a can of beer on somone from the other party. This started some heavier arguing about things other than football. So one of the Cinci guys actually tried to run over a guy in a Steelers jersey who had nothing to do with anything going on. Then there was a fight and the cops arrested a bunch of people and it was a mess. Now here is the thing. The guy who threw the beer had nothing to do with anything in the fun but was pissed cause they were wearing Bangles jerseys. WTF people. Its a game.

Has a wildcard team playing the entire playoffs on the road ever made it to the superbowl??? Nevermind winning just made it there???

I just saw on ESPN that the only teams beside the Giants to win all their road games and get to the Superbowl was the '05 Steelers and '85 Patriots. They never said anything about the '78 Raiders.

Yes, it did. Somebody who deserved to get called out got it, and got it GOOD! This is a classic example of running your mouth without thinking. This thread should be stickied
