I recently had an slp catted x pipe welded into my car and switched out the stock h and i did gain some raspier loudness which i was really happy about.
It also came with the magnaflow mufflers which according to the shop guy have sound induction reasonators or something like that which really affects the sound being produced by the x. I been thinking about switching this out but i don't really know what some good options are due to the fact that i recently purchased this car. Something that makes it LOUDER! Don't really care about performance.

Yep, SLP LM 1's will do just fine. The LM 2's aren't as loud as the 1's.

I absolutely love the LM1s on my 5.0. I struggle to think of any mustang - hell, any car that i have actually heard with my own two ears (not internet sound clips) that sound as good. But i realize thats a biassed statement.

SLP LM 1's and an offroad X will be louder than anything else you'll hear other than open headers.

It will also have little to no tone, so it's just a bunch of noise and people will think your car is a lot faster than it is.

LM-II's have more tone, and they're still fairly loud with an offroad mid...

Problem with exhaust is that it's very subjective. My MAC's are fairly loud with an offroad X, and I love the sound. Other people hate a chambered muffler and X pipe.

When you say you had an X pipe welded into your exhaust... explain... a mid pipe should never be welded in to the rest of the exhaust on these cars, that will make it a complete pain in the ass to switch the catback or mid-pipe at a later date.

+1 for SLP Loudmouth 1's...I bought then entire LM1 catback and installed a Magnaflow catted X pipe and I truly love the muscle car sound it has now. You can hear the car coming long before you see it.

+1... LM1's + o/r midpipe = ghey chit

If you just want to be an annoyance to your neighbors (like harley owners) and don't care if your car sounds like chit, get the LM1's and o/r midpipe. Be prepared though, it will sound like a dump truck missing all of its exhaust. If you want a reasonably loud setup get magnaflows w/ an o/r midpipe, if you want it to be loud and aggressive get magnapacks w/ a catted midpipe.

FLowpaths and flowmasters are nice too, but if I were to do it over again I'd have bought magnapacks or LM2's. I'm sick of the drone and I hate that they aren't stainless

Just unbolt it from the Headers back and have some fun... then when you grow tired of the drone and repeated headaches, put it back on.

Don't know how it would sound on a GT but on my Mach1 I have SLP LT Headers going into an SLP X-pipe with the cats punched out and an SLP LM1 Catback with the 3.5" tips and I get compliments on it everywhere I go.

SLP LMII + offroad X.

Is relatively loud (not quite as loud as the LMI's), but sound MUCH better than the LMIs.

LMI's (i.e. chit):

YouTube - Really Loud GT

LMII's (i.e. much better)

YouTube - 98 Mustang GT BBK offroad X-pipe and SLP LM II catback

Flowmasters with the guts rusted out of them are pretty loud. You do lose some performance when a chunk of baffle gets lodged sideways in the tailpipe though.

Well Nate i do appreciate it you suggesting it but i already have the magna mufflers which TAKE sound coming out of the X pipe according to the X-perts. Plus i really want to let my neighbors know whos in charge. My next door neighbors owns a 2002 v6 wanna be v8(the conversion) looks the same as mine red on black.

When i said "welded on'' i meant that the Pipe required long tube headers something i dind't have, so for that the guy welded idk what to make it fit.
