suggestions? *pic*

My Car is a 2000 Silver v6, i want to get the GT hood scoop because i think it makes the car look meaner. BUT i had this idea, Get the Hood scoop in Black (on silver car) and put two straight stripes down the sides of the scoop where the hood is elevated

Look at the attached pic my car would look just like that with a black hood scoop, and 2 stripes down the two elevated parts of the hood. ( this would all of course be without that big stripe down the center) ( look at pic)

can someone show me a pic? or photoshop it for me?

Hmm...I think a different colored hood scoop would look pretty stupid unless it was a shaker hood !

it dosent look bad actually, ive seen a few people do it

But do performance first, once I got my scoop installed, the cops began to look at me more

I dont' know if I would like it. I like the stripe you have on now. With the hood scoop it'll look even better, thats what I have, except of a red car

I think it looks pretty crappy unless you have a shaker hood on it. to me it makes you seem like you are trying to imitate that. however also realize by putting a GT scoop on your hood, you are causing more drag (no not much but some). I still can't figure out why ford didn't make that to divert the air somewhere that wont cause much drag....
