HEY GUYS,
IT TIME TO REPLACE THE RADIATOR. ANYONE HAVE ANY FEEDBACK ON SUMMIT'S ALUMINUM RADIATORS? HOW THEY PERFROM? I DO HAVE AN UNDERDRIVE PULLEY KIT THATS REDUCING WATER PUMP REVOLUTIONS SO I NEED SOMETHING A BETTER THAN AN OEM RADIATOR BUT I DONT WANT TO SPEND 400 BUCKS ON A FLUIDYNE OR BE COOL. I KNOW SUMMIT'S ISNT GOING TO BE THE BEST BUT I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF IT PERFORMS BETTER THAN OEM.

I'd go after the mishimoto radiator up top in the forum.

I'm switching to it from my summit one.

Mishimoto fit like a glove. BTW get yourself a better rad cap that mishimoto piece seems likely to fail.

I got an auto zone (stant?) piece thats ready to go on if and when it gives out. I didn't try it on yet but it looks like it will fit the rad. I'll test fit it after work and get you the part #.

Did anyone ever find any specs on the group-buy radiator? The lack of my finding any info was what kept me from ordering.

The Summit rad's have worked well for many on here. If you do not get the drop-fit one, you have to do some work (saddles under the tanks and possible top mount fitting).

Arizona95GTS, after some seat time, please shoot me a PM and let me know how the radiator is workin for ya in the heat (I'm in So. AZ).

I'm in Florida so our heats a lot alike. With the stock radiator I always ran with the needle in the middle of the O and with the Mishimoto it's barely on the N. I have to say I'm very pleased with the Mishimoto.

I put in the summit radiator and I have to admit it cools better than my fluidyne ever did before it started leaking.It doesnt take alot to put it in just fabricate to top brackets one bottom bracket and mount the fan to it its pretty straight foward and its wider and a little bit thicker than the fluidyne and the mishimoto unit I love mine it cools down really quick even in 100 degree heat.

Thank you sir. I wasn't sure how the M-rad would do in 110* and high humidity (monsoon season). I can even start to creep up to 200*F when we get that hot and humid around here.

I'll see how my stock gauge relates to the mech gauge next time I'm out (I haven't looked at the stocker in years).
