Summit seats

What do you think about the summit seats that go for $209. I like the black ones but don't know if they will look good in my car or are comfortable. My seats and interior were gray but I painted the whole interior to black(using black seat covers from wal-mart though). To redo my seats would cost $575-$600 in black cloth. Should I just buy leather looking seats? Not looking to spend more than $500 total. Thanks.

if you like the seats in your mustang and like that factory look then just go with the covers. katzkin leather covers are around $700, but their prolly one of the best out there. i've heard good things about the summit ones, however they're not much lighter than stock and you have to find some brackets to use with them.

I work in a machine shop, I'm sure we could make some brackets. I thought the summits seats would be lighter since they are manual and they look smaller.

Thanks, checked them out and they are $10.00 cheaper, but didn't say if they come with adjustable sliders. Have to find out. The seats look the same.

I don't know if they do but you can always weld on your old seat track (powered if be) or just bolt it up by making some brackets

So all I need are seats and my old seat brackets right. I can weld it if that is all that has to be done to fit.
