Summit Sport seat comfort?

Did a search, didn't turn up much. Any one use the Summit Sport seats?

Summit Part number- SUM-G1159

Price looks nice, seats look good, my only concern is how comfortable they are. My Stang is a daily driver, so my rear end gets lots of seat time...

Thanks guys.

Yup, and I love them! Mine is not a daily driver, and my seat time is somewhat limited, but they were very comfortable to me, and held me snugly on the track. I sent mine straight to the local upholstery shop and had my Mach 1 comfort weave swapped into them, and the rest dyed to match, all for $300.00 It was a little bit of work fab'ing brackets to install them as the mounting holes from left to right are too narrow, and they are also too far aft. If anybody knows of some off the shelf adapters I'd love to know about it. At $189 ea, plus $300 for re-upholstery that comes to just under $700 for IMO, a very classy looking, and functional pair of seats. If the out-of-the-box black is good for you, these seats are hard to beat.

For some reason I'm not able to insert a pic right now, so I pasted the links below:

You may want to consider posting in the 5.0 forum as well. It seems like I remember seeing a similar thread in there quite a while back that got several replies. I don't remember what the feedback was, but it does seem that there was a handful of responses. Good luck! Bryan

I'm real happy with mine. I put a set in my '85 GT when they first came out.
They have great support and are very comfortable. In fact more comfortable than the stock seats were. The 4 hour trip to the WFC in St. Louis is a piece of cake, even with the 4 point harnesses on. I highly recommend them, but I'm torn between the summit seats or the Scat ProCar rallys for the '68.

I don't have SN95 seats to compare to, but I will say they sit higher than I like. This can be fixed with a different design mounting bracket though. I plan to make some new adapters over the winter to allow them to sit a little lower. Right now I have to sit with my legs apart to keep the tops of my legs from touching the steering wheel.
