usually around a 50% in hp and 40% in tq at around 7-8psi. cam would make a big difference, but youll need a fuel pump and injectors before that

I jsut put a vortech with 9-10psi in my stang, i also did injectors, upper/lower intakes, TB, MAF sensor, Adj. Fuel Press. reg., etc.

I dynoed 202rwhp is May, My tune after the S/C, on a slipping clutch, i put down 332rwhp and 365lb ft once i sort out my drivetrain issues they are going to re-tune it and i should get a little more power.

It is nice, although i have a few oil leaks that popped up, i think it's either the rear main and/or oil pan gasket.

I thing I will do the same thing not do the H/C and just the supercharger. It is like more HP for less money and if it is not powerful enough then when I get more money the H/C will go on.

I am currently doing a DIY supercharger, I am going to run an eaton M90 at 5-6 psi, home make the tubing, buy an air filter, buy a vortech crank pulley, longer throttle cable, and make the brackets and I'll have a supercharger kit.

I plan on paying under 400 for everything, but yall lnow how this works, lol I plan on paying under 400, but it will be probably over 600 by the time I am done.

I'd say that's not completely accurate.
H/C/I when done is about $2500 with good parts.
So is the supercharger setup. Don't be fooled by the price of an SC vortech, it's still missing a few odds and ends that add up.

I've seen plenty of h/c/i cars beat supercharger only cars. Including races myself. Most guys i know with good hci run mid to low 12's, most guys i know with SC's only run the same or slower.
I'll Take NA power over aspirated power any day of the week, when the hp numbers are equal.

Besides with the h/c/i, you get fresh gaskets, new heads that obviously have new seals, basically a complete top end rebuild.

With the supercharger and original gaskets, expect oil to be blowing out all over the place, and worst of all a possible blown head gasket.

I just feel if you know you are going to have a supercharger sometime do the supercharger first. Because if you do the H/C/I it not may not be the best for boost when you get it. Say its a year later after you do the H/C/I and you get a supercharger you might have to do the cam again. There was someone on here that had AFR 165 and 61cc exhaust ports with out boost and said he lost power put worked great with his vortech. I think he had a ford F cam. I do see your point and I under stand what your saying
