I was wondering what supporting parts that I may have to install to support a SC to have it running properly. (safe from detonation). I don't want any extra expenses.

Generally a blower kit is all you need cuz they come with everything. However if you want to increase your fuel system life lots of people get larger injectors (and supporting hardware, like a new or recalibrated MAF) because that helps you keep fuel pressure down with the FMU, oh and possibly a larger i take fuel pump (the kits come with inline pumps but a larger intank pump helps too since you already have an h/c/i setup. Other than that you may consider and air to air intercooler but that gets pretty pricey. Unless you get a procharger which comes with an intercooler.

As above:
The kit comes with everything. If you DONT want the FMU, then you need to upgrade the injectors and fuel pumps.

You MUST run High octane all the time and keep the timing down to prevent detonation.

An FMU is a fuel manigment unit it will mount over by the passinger side strut in the engine compartment

Upgrade the ignition system with a coil, plug wires and BTM if possible. Then you need to upgrade the fuel system to a larger injector and intank fuel pump. The chip will need to be reburned for this set up. Getting a blower is the easy part, the supporting hardware is the killer.

With your combo I would do.
MSD6BTM
MSD Blaster Coil
MSD 8.5 plug wires
Autolite 3923's wit .035 gap
42# Injectors
High Pressure 255 LPH intake pump
Inline pump-kit usually comes with one.

With the larger injectors a FMU is not needed.

Nin: Dont worry, Im not dissing you...It's just you remind me of ME when I started out. I thought heads was a short name for "headers" only 3 yrs ago.

Anyway, the FMU is mounted somewhere on a portion of the pass side fender in the engine. It is inserted in the path of the fuel return line and has a diaphragm in it. Under boost, the diaphragm is pushed down to prevent fuel from returning back the tank, increasing the pressuer at the injectors and allowing for more fuel delivery. A lot of guys refer to it as a "Bandaid" to a good fuel delivery system upgrade.

As Joe said..the blower is easy. He and spent an extra $1500+ on the upgrades..BTM, injectors, chip, fuel pumps, etc.

Thanks

BTW do you recommend buying a tuner or reburning the mail order jms chip, I would be cheaper but they haven't seen my car.

Why Not...I did...For over 6 months

If youre fairly confident that you are done with MAJOR mods and you dont feel comfortable with doing your own tuning..get the chip reburned.

If you feel adventurous or youre going to be doing continuous upgrades, get a tuner.

The tuner usually costs MORE than one chip burn, but LESS than 2 chip burns....hence the answer I gave.

Yep what those two said and you will be fine. I have had some issues with detonation and have paid the price for no tune. I am still hard headed though and ran the car at full 12 psi boost last night on a straight away before getting a tune after installing a new set of HG's from detonation. I however don't have a spout in and have my timing locked @ 12 degrees which controls my detonation. A BTM is a great thing to have and you should invest in one.
