What is the part # for the replacement belt at autozone or advance auto? I know Joe from Chicane used to have the # on his website, but I can't seem to find it now.

I have a stock pulley series II if that helps.

Thanks!

advance auto part # is 50601130 dayco brand and it is $34.44. I have bought over a dozen of them and i will tell you that out of the three brands i bought, advance is best, autozone is ok and the saleen is the worst...advance auto belt comes w/ a free one year replacement which i take extreme advantage of

Bump, have a question as well. Would the belt size be the same for the Chicane 66mm pulley on a Series II blower, or would you go smaller - if so what size?

Thanks!

It's been a few years since I put on my 66mm but I recall Joe telling me to use the same belt that came with it. I have since replaced the belt though, and I use a Gates KO61120 currently. It seems to work nicely with no slipping, I still wear grooves in my upper Rad. hose though.

112inch for chicane pulley. It'll take some muscle...but it'll work, could go 112.5 if you have the mosaleen idler pulley. I really cant remember what I had on mine in the end....99% sure it was 112.5 with the idler

Gates KO61125 =
K = Rib
6 = # of Ribs
112 = inches
0 or 5 = even or 1/2 in increment of size

OR as shown above stock belt = 113 inches.

I wish this info would have been brought up a few months back when I shredded the belt. Couldnt seem to find a part number anywhere. When I untangled the belt, I realized that there was a rib or 2 left that just got torn from the rest of the belt so I was able to bring that in for measuring.

Whats the cause of the shredded belts? Does Saleen not know how to align the blower pulley with the rest of the pulleys?

I have never shredded a belt even on 6500 RPM blasts, a bad tensioner pully can shread a belt real fast, or the wrong size, (too big) allows the belt to flap at high RPM's.
