I have an 03 mach 1 and I'm in the process of replacing my belt tensioner and we unfortunately snapped the bolt in the process ive been calling ford dealerships and looking online and I can't find anything on what bolt I need all the dealerships part services can find is the bolt for the cobras. Please help me!

Try a local wrecking yard. Either find a Mustang or an F150 of similar year as it would surprise me if the tensioner hardware was different between your car and them. The tensioner may be different, but the mount bolt from 4.6 to 4.6 is likely the same in all cases.

Just a thought.

Yeah just the only issue is that it's a tty bolt so definitely don't want to reuse that I made that mistake doing that in a pinch for a temporary thing and almost ruined my whole day.

Interesting, I never thought that would be a tty bolt. Anyway then, just find out what length and thread it is and pick up 10.9 grade bolt and put it together.

When the tensioner is installed, there shouldn't be any special or unusual loads on it. A normal 10.9 bolt will be plenty strong.

You snapped the bolt on the new tensioner or the one you're trying to remove? FWIW, I've mounted/unmounted tensioners a billion times with the same bolts, never an issue (well aside from prochargers belt force snapping entire tensioners off haha).
