Are you guys still using the same fuel filter as before supercharging?

I had installed a no-name brand fuel filter in the car about 2000 miles before getting the blower. So when I installed the blower I just left in that filter. Today I installed a new Motorcraft filter (FG-986B) in the car.

Before when I would turn the key to the on position the fuel pressure gauge would jump to 40 and stay steady until the car was started. Now it jumps to 40 and then immediately starts to fall to about 22. When I started the car and it idled it stays around 22. I'm not 100% positive, but I think that before it was higher.

Is this normal?

Do I need a different filter for a blower car?

motorcraft here and no problems , I have heard of people getting an air bubble where the sender is , might wanna try to somehow unscrew the sender slowly and try to bleed it ... just an idea .....
