I would recommend a Procharger P1SC-2 with the three core cooler. there are no more seal issues with these blowers that I know of. Older kits had the problem. I currently have this on my car and make over 400rwhp and 400rwtq all day on the dyno with nothing more than a TFS plenum, Accufab 75mm, Pro-m ATI solutions meter, 42lb injectors, Aviator pump, and a SLP catback. I was going to buy a D1 kit until I saw a similar car to mine in mods make 415hp and only 360tq on the dyno. the D1 is too lazy a blower for a stock motor. you need to rev the motor much higher with that blower to make it worth while.

I am still running stock headers, catalytic pipe, stock POS ATI blower inlet and a completely stock 04 engine.

just for comparison to the KB guys I paid a little over 5K for all the motor parts and the blower kit. I was going to get a KB but they want 5K just for the blower and then I would still need the injectors, TB, and inlet kit.

You didn't look close enough then, because the KB for $4900 comes complete and should make the same 400hp as you have, but more torque with the stock motor, TB and inlet tube. The 9# kit includes:

• Billet Twin Screw 1700 Supercharger
• Hi-Flo CAst Inlet Manifold
• Billet Bypass Valve Assembly
• Bar and Plate Intercooler, HD Heat Exchanger, Intercooler Pump and Water Fill Reservoir
• Re-calibrated Mono Chip
• 36lb Injectors
• BOOST-A-PUMP™
• Fuel Rails
• 160° Calibrated Thermostat

Another vote for the KB here.

One of the biggest benefits is that plastic excuse for a stock intake manifold is gonzo with the KB kit. So although the kit may seem expensive versus the competition...the competition doesn't include a new intake manifold with there's. (go price out an aftermarket intake manifold...all 3 of them) Not to mention the kit is totally complete..injectors, fuel rails etc etc.

The hp gains are comparable or better than other kits running similar boost.

And the KB tq curve just kicks a$$.

Finally...you want shock factor...order the KB polished...its a freakin peice of jewelry.

Go to www.kennebell.net read everything on the site...compare that with the info shared on all the other blower brand sites...the Kenne Bell sells itself.

Do your research...the KB design is comparable to the lungs installed on the Ford GT, the '03+ Cobra...and all the blown Benzs...there's a reason why this style was chosen.

KB....maybe one day I will have one. I can't complain about my Vortech though.

I have a ProCharger P1SC with a 3-core intercooler. If I had it to do over again, I'd go with the Novi 2000. If you go with the P1SC, however, invest in the Snow Performance boost cooler. A reputable installer can tap into your windshield wiper resevoir (cheap washer fluid is 50% methanol). This way you can put timing back into the car safely. And as you know, timing means POWER. Email me if you have any other questions. I'll gladly help.

if you go with the KB on a 96-98 can you keep your strut tower brace with the stock hood.

that would be a big issue since i have a vert.

I doubt it. A buddy of mine up here was talking about getting a custom STB fabbed up for his '99 coupe...he was running one before his install.

The supports running from the firewall to the strut towers is a no-brainer...but coming up with the cross member looks like a needle in a haystack...it's real busy in front of the lung.
