For the amount of money you're putting into your car, and the power goals you want, you need a custom ground camshaft. You need to get in touch with Jay Allen of Camshaft Innovations. He's arguably the biggest name in custom cam grinding for Ford motors around, so he's a pretty busy guy. Go to his website Camshaft Innovations - Home and e-mail him or call him, or just fill out a build sheet and submit it. You will NOT be disappointed.

Other people swear by Ed Curtis. He's a skilled and knowledgeable guy as well, and his site is Flowtech Induction. I cannot comment on him though, as I've never used one of his cams. Good luck.

Another recommendatio for Jay...

However, don't expect him to provide you with cam specs, just so you can run to Jegs and buy something 'close'

Jay makes money by selling cams... Not by spec'ing cams.

Jay is damn good at what he does, and you will get exactly the product you ask for.
Plus, once you are a CI customer, Jay will forever go out of his way to support you. Support after the sale is awesome with Jay.

jay allen knows what he is doing. dont go cheap and make sure you have most of your parts, or at lease know EXACTLY what you are doing before you order your cam.

+1 on the tech support as well. I forgot to mention that important aspect of how Jay does business. Also, Jay will sell you a complete combo, like he sold me. Heads, intake, valvetrain, timing set, all matched for his cam. He'll even be selling full motors soon I believe. Like I said earlier, you won't be disappiointed.

Jay used to make OTS cam recommendations for a small fee, but no longer offers that service, AFAIK.

What 'specs' are you looking for?

This is kinda touchy, so I'll express it as best I can...

Jay feeds and clothes his family with the knowledge he has learned over many years.
From the sound of your quote, you are getting ready to ask him for FREE advice... so that you can go to another parts supplier to buy the parts.
This means Jay would have to spend time with you, analyzing your desired setup and goals, as well as designing the right valve events. This is several hours of work at best.
Then, you are going to take that information and buy a cam from Summit.

What benefit is there for Jay in that scenario?

Jay is very good at what he does, and if you are ever a PAYING Camshaft Innovations customer you will truly understand that.
If you call Jay wanting a free handout, you will be disappointed...

Best of luck whatever you decide,
jason
