Now I am asking just because I am curious.... does ANYBODY use the root style supercharger anymore ? Based on the inputs I have gotten so far...the centrifs are 100% of the entries.

I have a friend with a 6-71 on top of a 408W in a 70 Mach1. With the birdcatcher it sits higher than the roof line. I'm trying to get the info from him.

I just realized in my original post that I didn't put up a link.
People have found the database but this should make it easier

331 Stroker w/ Kenne Bell 2.2 liter blower in '66 'vert

Don't know WHEN I'll get my 'vert finished, but it will be FUN when it is. No roots, but twin screw. Great low end INSTANT power combined with better efficiency than a roots. Changing the car over to EFI is required, but well worth it. Lots of cam, afr heads, ported GT40 lower manifold...

Shouldn't have gotten involved w/ building my turbocharged GTO...
