Does anyone happen to know if the 7" ASP pulley will clear the stock GT water pump pulley? There's no way in hell I'm paying $410 for the stock 5.75" Vortech pulley when the ASP is $150.

What does the stock pulley measure?

Also I'm sure ASP has or can make a waterpump pulley those deminsions for alot cheaper than 4 bills.

I was just barely able to run a 8" crank pulley on mine with the vorturd water pump pulley.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the stock waterpump pulley measures? I hope the ASP pulley won't have any interference with it, because Vortech must be insane asking $410 for the 5.75" crank pulley, so there's absolutely no way I'm buying one from them. The only option that I'm aware of in the aftermarket that isn't a stock Vortech pulley is the 7" ASP pulley.

There are many options of crank pullies you can run, ASP can make any size or rib you want. I ran a 7" and it was a waste of money for the gains so i went to a 8" crank pulley...and it was 10 rib (cleared the fan to). Putting anything bigger in their would take modification, that was a snug fit (crank pulley to waterpump pulley) but cleared just barely. This was also with the vortech wp pulley.

If the wp pulley is a issue, ask ASP if they make a smaller one.

I think it might clear if your only running a 7" crank pulley, my stock Vortech crank pulley was 6.87" a 5.75" is a tiny sob and would be belt slip city!!!! There was goobs of room when i ran a 7" between the crank/wp.

Good luck and keep us updated!
